Becoming a parent can be tough; you deserve a helping hand in those early times <3
This class is all about connection and community, making sure that you get both to help nourish and nurture your journey as a parent.
You’ll learn baby massage techniques that you can use wherever you are with your baby, that will help alleviate common problems such as colic symptoms, trapped wind and constipation, as well as promoting positive attachment, strengthening muscle tone and improving the quality of sleep. In turn this will help encourage your own confidence in parenting your baby by giving you tangible tools to help soothe them, encourage positive interactions with your baby, reduce postnatal depression rates and…improve quality of sleep!
Making sure you’re well supported during these all-important early days of parenthood is also really important. That’s why we’ll have dedicated brew time after the physical component of the class where you can make friends, chat and support each other. As a perinatal professional qualified in infant feeding support, I’m also on hand to answer any questions you might have.
This is a space where you can come for advice, where you definitely won’t be judged. A supportive space while you figure out this new way of life.
This course is suitable for all babies from 2 weeks old until crawling, however if your baby is on the older side you might wish to consider the Next Stages: Baby & Me class instead. All caregivers are welcome however if the adult in attendance isn’t the mother please be aware that a large part of the group will have a maternal focus.
This course is held at Orange Bloom Yoga Studio, Hazel Grove on Wednesdays at 9.30am. Once you’ve made your booking and paid via paypal, you’ll receive an information form to complete within 24-48 hours of purchase.
